A Conversation for Little Chef Restaurants

Hello all,
I worked in a Trust House Fortes establishment 24 years ago.
Even then, the staff were blamed by customers for the high prices and bad service due to not enough members of staff.
There were too many chiefs and not enough indians and the chiefs prefered to sit on their behinds whilst issuing orders as opposed to actually doing their jobs.
The hours were VERY long and the pay was VERY low.
The meal's which were served in the 'Little Chef' which ajoined 'The Granary' were supposed to be solely, 'Little Chef' meals but in actual fact, were just the same meals that were being served throughout the whole T.H.F est'.
Standard's are far from ideal in these places but please please, have a heart for the staff who are just the little people.
Changes need to be made, not only for the consumer but also for a better working enviroment for the staff.
Admittedly, there will be the 'odd' member of staff that is to blame for certain altercation's but as a rule, the problem's lie with management, or lack of!
Thankyou for reading.

If only they stuck the management in the front of the restaurants so we could blame them.

I do feel sorry for staff at Little Chef's. I was hungry enough to eat at one near Glasgow earlier this year. Both members of staff looked miserable and tired.
