All the road in this town
were name after basards
All the ways in this town
were made by bad men
And you can't get around without
all their deeds here hanging
And the signs on the streets
all remind us of them
When the words are all lost
use the streets as inspiration
You can still hear the songlines
sound beaneath the new pitch
aohh aohh ohh ohh
oahh oahh ahh ahh
Marked by those who made theirs
and 'though haunted and trodden
time blythely perseveres
tied to those foundations
by markers of lost ways
In recalling the forgotten
we miss signs of new days
