h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Staring out to sea the man-boy saw only mist and the noise of a multitude of seagulls diving and circling.

He realised for the first time that he was lost.

All his life he had been scared, frightened.

These last few years the growing anxiety had clung to him like a limpet to a rock.

Do other people feel this way ?

How can he know ?

He can not see or feel what they see or feel.

And so returning from his early morning walk he put on again the cloak of lies and became again a human being.

Love both of these last entries. You are a very wise man, bigal. There must be so much peace in your life. I had always loved animals more than people, but the more time I spend here, the more I feel a kinship. I don't know if I said that right. I think you know what I mean though. I'm trying to be the type of person I should be.

You are the type of person you should be , how could you not be.

After writing this I thought maybe it was too heavy, is it what we all feel or am I ( and possibly you) alone on this one.

I don't think it's too heavy. I think it's quite profound. And I'm sure we're not the only one's who feel the same way. Some just aren't as open about their feelings.
