the minute you tie something down that you care about, name it, tag it, bind it to yourself, define it, and hold it tight to you, it often begins to lose all those qualities about it you once found so endearing. it's the fastest way to ruin something wonderful.
on another topic, the bottom of the ocean is such a beautiful and mystifying thing. fish longer than your arms in such astounding colors! it's amazing.
...snorkeling is fun.
