I want to change some stuff on my PS page and was wondering if you could help with something? I wanted to use one of the pictures as a background for the page with my writing over the top, is possible do you know?

I'd be very grateful for any advice you can provide

To be honest I've never tried. I can have a mess about with the code on mine and see if I can work it out for ya, but I'm thinking it might only work if you do a table. Leave it with me and I'll have a go later when it's quiet at work

It wasn't to be honest, was thinking more in line of an actual picture of something than a box of color. But actually that would work ok as well.

The trouble is using this GuideML stuff is rubbish you can't do the kind of stuff you would with HTML or CSS. To do a background picture I wouldn't think is possible with GuideML, it doesn't have enough scope for that sort of thing, it's very basic.

Half the code I've tried isn't recognised, so doesn't work

A background colour is about all you can do

Right when you view the code on your space you have this at the top:

Where you see #00CCFF that is the colour go to this link and choose which colour you prefer and type in the relevant code number

Right, I've sorted out your code and it works okay now.

What you'll notice is the background of your page I've made lightblue(ish) you can change that to any colour you choose. Wipe out all the code in your space, and paste in all the code below:

The lightblue(ish) background will spread right across the page when you start adding lines of text without line breaks.

Now, to change the background colour look at the top of your code until you see this:






All you do is replace the number "#99FFFF" with another number of your choice from the web safe colour chart I send you the link to - Job Done...
