Been busy...helping Tabs move and assisting with the sorting out of the family pile

Never a dull moment! So Tabs move went OK from what you said on the chill out post. Hope the family pile is coming on nicely!

Mucho work happening - new laminate flooring, gas fires (much work to get the fireplaces the right size), kitchen....then converting the old bathroom into an en-suite...it'll never end....

Sounds like a mammoth task to me! I hope it'll be worth it in the end! Not much time for reading then...apart form DIY manuals!
I saw you had read the Artemis Fowl books, I think my eldest son has a couple. How do they compare to Philip Pullman and the Northern Lights books?

JK only read them because my daughter bet him he couldn't read them all by Tuesday ,when he went home.
He did ,but read them in the wrong order
They were supposed to be unpacking
He's painting a ceiling today so probably won't be around until this evening.....oh well back to work....it must be lunchtime soon...

I moved house about 100 miles on the Saturday..started work on the Monday..so I am shattered....the job is hard going at the moment but it'll get better
