Well, I haven't really got a rant today. Although I am going to have to go to a piano rehearsal tomorrow. Playing the two easiest pieces from Mussorgski's "Pictures at an Exhibition": the first "Promenade" and "The Old Castle." And I'm not even good at those. Blame it on having had three weeks to learn them. smiley - tongueout
Finished the third Hitchhiker book, almost finished with fourth...
[yawn]
More accusations: blame the third book for making me stay up till midnight. And blame my inner clock for making me wake up at 6:55. It's summer vacation, dangit!
[another yawn]
Don't mind me, I tend to be slightly whacked in the head when I'm sleepy.

Mussorgsky, eh? You should watch this opera "Boris Godunov" when you get the chance too. Waking up at 6:55 AM is like sleeping in for me.

Did the rehearsal. Spent half an hour looking for parents. They weren't in the concert hall. They weren't in the coffee shop. Their car was there, I saw it out the window when I was backstage. I told everyone I couldn't find them. Told my piano teacher, who said, "They have to be in the concert hall," looked, and didn't find them. Went backstage again to make sure the car was still there. All of a sudden, the real car starts parking in one of the slots. Run out, look like an idiot, complain to mom... (Tenses are screwy. Don't mind me.)
