I do have one question, now that I have a "fish" in my ear, what do I do with it now?

Yes, I think you'll find we're a right friendly bunch here at h2g2
As far as the fish... just leave it there to do its thing.
'The Babel fish... is small, yellow and leechlike, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave activity received not from its own carrier but from those around it... Here at h2g2, the fish kind of symbolizes the fact that we have researchers from all over the world working and playing together and discovering common interests. -- or -- that there are plenty of folks here happy to 'translate' and help make clear any parts of h2g2 that may be confusing to you.
On the other hand, it may just be cute and yellow.
