a *coney* here in Detroit, MI is a hot dog served with chili, onions, and mustard.

or, a place where such are served.

better stated, a coney is a very slow yet pleasant way to commit suicide. much like living.

I wonder how coneys in Detroit got their name. Could it be a reference to Coney Island in New York, which is a somewhat legendary place for hot dogs?
