No 1 grandson is now taller than me in fact he's head and shoulders taller than me and No 2 grandson is getting there. The worst thing is tho' they now both take a larger size shoe & so I can't borrow their Converses

Still, I have a cunning plan, No 1 grandaughter should be putting on a growth spurt soon

btw, from the thread title, I thought this was going to be some kind of Walrus/Carpenter thing...

it is worrying isn't it? I think my YOUNGER* Brother turned 16 the day he overtook me in height... and since then he's been growing taller, fitter and blah blah blah... jsut ast the same time I've bene growning shorter, fatter and less fit no fair!

The biggest challenge will be on holiday this year when we play beach rugby & I can't tackle either one of them mind you I can't see that happening, who was it said something about immoveable articles & irresistable forces?

After I'd posted, a horrible thought flittered across the barren wastes of my skull, if No 1 granddaughter gets big enough for me to borrow her Converses, she'll be big enough to borrow my stilettos

Brothers can be the most inconvenient of things at times, my little bro (5 years younger) was smaller than me until he was 14 & then stood in some good organic fertiliser and he's now 6' 4".

The only advice I can give to fellow vertically challenged beings is to get very good at , it brings down the highest, just like Tal says
