LOL 
Anyway, problem from home, now sorted. Suddenly seemed to work again.
I deleted any BBC cookies and content on my PC, and then left it for a day, and hey presto. Been away this weekend, and only got back yesterday. I was in Amsterdam. First chance to get online since Thursday. I was starting to get the jitters 
but, lo and behold, the site is up and active again
