Seems like this year is the year of "joke" gifts. For Christmas, I got from my family a three-can package of Spam, a mug that says, "THIS CUP IS NOW HALF EMPTY" on the side, and a free calendar from the local noodle house (in addition to the usual sweaters that I'll never wear). And people wonder why I'm so weird.

I'm drinking out of the cup right now. The surface of the drink (Coke) is aligned with the line on the side of the cup, telling me in no uncertain terms that "THIS CUP IS NOW HALF EMPTY."
Well, that settles that question.
