Hi Richard,

Thanks for the input on the last release - we now have a new one announcing the registration of the charity. I've included your suggestion of highlighting the professional medical input & experience - other than what's there do you think we need more detailed biogs or not?
Also, as I said to Maggy we're looking for a relevant list of press e-mails to send the release out to - we have a database of contact addresses and phone numbers but relatively few individual e-mail addresses, and are not looking forward to the prospect of days of (tele)research and data entry! Any suggestions?
Also, we're looking to get the release out this week, so any more suggestions for points of improvement would be much appreciated!

I wish I had a bright idea about getting press e-mails. Perhaps the best idea is to identify the press that you most want to write about you and just start with them. And watch it grow. Not a great idea but practical.

Thanks for the advice Richard - we had a good kickstart last week after getting hold of the PIMS directory which is v. specific and extremely useful; furthermore we're modifying what we've written so far, so keep an eye out for the new release!
