Don't know if this is of interest, but I have an early (I believe it was done in the late 70's) pencil drawing by Martin on my bedroom wall. It's a study in perspective..some buildings...

I've only just come across this message. Very enjoyable surprise. How did you come by the painting? I am intrigued.

The picture used to be my mum's.
My family had an art gallery on the Old Brompton Road in South Kensington, and also, through the 70's, in Sudbury, Suffolk. I imagine it was through this that mummy acquired this picture...I have a vague recollection of her discussing this...and I believe she knew Martin at the time.
Unfortunately, as she is no longer with us, I am unable to exactly verify this.
Still, it's a very nice picture...I've grown up with it and I am very fond of it.

I've just forward the url for this to Martin. Very sorry to hear about your mother. And again thank you for brightening my day.
