So today's been busybusybusy!
No time to slack on h2g2...
But last night was a lot of fun. The party was at the China Club and it was pretty crazy. Amazing food, strong drinks, fun people. A tad crowded, but that what you get when you combine those three things. I brought Big Tony, my roommate to repay him for bringing me to the Glamour party. And the most fun part of the night was discussing his love life with random strangers on the subway on the way home. These girls were listening to us talk, so we invited them to join in We got some interesting insights. I love NYC.
Other big news... may be going to Chicago...
hmmm?
more to tell later...

watch out there...
*fans smoke away from Krissy's head*
So Big Tony and I are going to a Cubs game July 23rd... and to see some friends... Kind of spontaneous idea... It's all part of our plan to see every major ballpark...
Amy thinks I'm ridiculous to go to Chicago just to see a baseball game... But she's always thought I'm ridiculous anyway...

Are you kidding? Nothing short of death is too much to pay to see the Cubs play. Who CARES if they suck? They're MY team.
(I currently live 1 block from Wrigley Field). After I move I'll live 9 blocks from Wrigley Field. I love the ballpark, but I WILL be happy that there aren't drunk idiots peeing in the alley next to my house and shouting things like "WRUURRRSSMMFFLLOOOO!! HROROROP! HEY JANET!! SSUURFFFLLIMMM!!" next to my bedroom window anymore. Besides which, parking is easier the farther you are away from the Park.
I am a die-hard Cubs fan though.

Wow, I live close to Shea Stadium, but nowhere near as close as you are to Wrigley... I'm a Mets fan you see... {as stated in my journal today} so I understand how it feels when your team sucks... imagine having to deal with yankee fans all the time (not that they are doing so hot these days anyway)
But I'm glad you understand my feelings about baseball...
Anyhow, if you're around that weekend you know you'll have to meet up with me and my friends... As long as you aren't a psychopath or anything

Goddamn it! Rules rules rules.
Well, that keeps me out. I'm a total psychopath. In fact, you can ask anyone around here, I have a satalite I can train on anybody's house at any time and my fridge is full of baby bits.
I am, however, a psychopath that enjoys going to clubs and meeting people for drinks, so let me know if you change your mind.

mmmm baby bits
Well, *maybe* I can change my psychopath rule...
You do seem like a fun psychopath and all...

I am a fun psychopath... but I don't do balloon animals. That actually kept me out of the Psychopath Union 134 here in Chicago. There's some sort of psychotic "balloon animal" rule.

Well, then you'll have to meet up with us for a drink or two... (we'll do without baloon animals for now) That saturday night is probably when we'll hit the town the hardest... We'll figure out specifics later thoug I'm sure...

It's going to be a lot of fun... quite a crowd too... we might take over any bar we go in... Fun!

Where in Chicago do your friends live? There is a killer Irish pub right around the corner from Wrigley Field. It's wonderful and busy and the guiness is fantastic.
I spent St. Paddy's day there two years ago. All day.

She lives within walking distance of Wrigley, but that's all I know... I actually know very little about Chicago geography.
We're going to have lots of time on sunday after the game (we don't leave until 9pm sunday) so maybe that pub's a plan... lots of options though... I know there's a couple of things I'd like to see while in chicago... (mostly landmarks from blues brothers *big grin*)

LOL... all you have to do is go downtown. After that Ferris Beuler's Day Off will be soooooo cool. You'll spend the whole movie saying, "Ooo I did that. I was there. See the building? I have a PICTURE of me in front of that building!" I love it.
Woo boy
Spaceboy Zoom Posted Jun 27, 2000
Yes, it was definitely in the plan that I was going to watch Ferris again before we left. Such a great movie...
You think I could get into a parade?
Woo boy
Classic Krissy Posted Jun 27, 2000
I don't know if there's a parade that weekend, but if there is I'm sure you could. I marched uninvited in the St. Paddy's day parade downtown two years ago.
