I feel a duty to report at least initially on our wonderful weekend at Killington and at home over the Fourth of July. The Inn at Long Trail is cozy, welcoming, clean, and has a great pub on the ground level. Dinner was nearly perfect, service was impeccable, and we were in some of the very best company the whole time.
I'm not sure Celia was serious about selling my rhubarb chutney at her restaurant but it was nice to think about. Maybe I'll send some date chutney and see what happens. It's far more appealing-looking than the rhubarb.
