hi there im the ACE who welcomed you im off to brazil in july for two weeks and cant waity is there stuff i need to know such as local customs what money to use who not to deal with that kinda thing any advice would be much appreciated

You must be very lucky. I happen to have written several articles about Brazil. If you drop me an email at [email protected] I'll send you some.
Basically, they use the Real here. (pronounced Hee-al or he-ahs pl)
It depends on where you are going in order to answer your other questions. Also, if you speak Portuguese. Remember, the Brazilian version is somewhat different than the continental version. I have an article I wrote about that, too.
In any case, enjoy your stay here and, if you come to João Pessoa in the northeast where I live, I can show you the nicest area in Brazil.
