Hi, Thought I'd be the first to say hello here. How long have you been on h2g2? I'm still new this week.

Just a bit longer than you, Observer. (I MAY call you Observer, mayn't I?) It's difficult finding time, but I am sooo glad I stumbled upon this nice little gem. I plan to spend much more time here once I get certain ... technical problems worked out. So tell me ... how did you find my page? I haven't really done much except give a guy named Arthur some plumbing advice.

Yes, you may call me Observer. I find a lot of pages just by going to the Who's Online list and clicking on an interesting name. That's how I found you. There's no telling who you might meet that way.

That's quite true! smiley - winkeye

Hello everyone...
...I'm a bit of an old hat around here, but anytime I see a space theme in a user name, I find myself compelled to go and check it out.

I run the h2g2 observatory from my homepage and you're more than welcome to swing by and check it out. smiley - smiley

Well, glad to meet you. I still haven't gotten my technical difficulties worked out, so I still don't have much time here.

Er ... the Observer of what?

Jimi X, I presume?

I took a peeeeek at your page. Not a very long one, I'm afraid, since I am at work. And I'm sure I will have plenty of h2g2 questions for you in the Future. Or maybe the Past. Whenever I wind up.

In the meantime ... do you know much about iMacs?

I am the Observer of anything and everything, so my name changes a lot.

Some...
I'm buying my mom one for her birthday this August. I've got an old PowerMac G3 at home, but at work they force me to use a Windows box... smiley - sadface

You'll find that the ACEs are a good group to ask questions of, but most of the h2g2 community is pretty good at helping out with any questions you may have.

Also, for your iMac questions, you could try hitting the 'Ask h2g2' button at the top and bottom of your page and pose your question there. I'm sure dozens of Mac lovers will fall all over themselves responding. smiley - smiley

TTFN!

Thank you so very much. I have a sneaking suspicion about these iMacs. I think they're poised to take over the world.

LOL!

When I asked my mom what kind of computer she needed, she said 'Blue.' When I asked her about memory and other specifications, she told me, 'Just make sure it's a blue one.'
