So anyhow, after a miserable bus ride, my pal and I got to bum around New Jersey for a few days with friends. If you're ever in eastern NJ, pick up a copy of "Wierd New Jersey" (they're not hard to find) and by all means go see the stuff. There are straaaaaange things in Jersey. "the Devil's grave," a giant wooden Jesus, the scariest insane asylum ever (from the outside. I wouldn't know anything about the inside..
..honest), renegade chipmunks, etc. Then we were off to New Hampshire.
My friends in Jersey always seem up for driving me halfway up New England. Since our arrival we've been dead broke and living off rice and potatoes however I believe we have acquired employment. Just a few minor details to take care of and we'll be working at the most picturesque inn in the state with free meals and housing for the summer. The downside is instead of being one mile from the nearest computer, I'll be eight miles from the nearest internet access. Hopefully it'll work out and I'll be able to get back to the guide before September. If not, happy 4th of july
