h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So this is my journal, huh? Well I figure I'd better do somethin' with it then. I'm still terribly new at all this. Though I registered some two weeks ago, I've been traveling and haven't been near a computer. I'm now in the mountains of New Hampshire where I should be spending most of the summer and where gee it's only a mile and a half walk to the nearest pc. The journey thus far has been interesting to say the least. One of the last things I'll ever reccomend is taking an over night bus ride from anywhere in Michigan all the way to New Jersey. The reason for this is not that bus riding is really that bad, but a bus from anywhere in Michigan passes through Cleveland, Ohio on it's way east. Inevitably, everybody in Cleaveland wants to go wherever I may be headed and thus we are jammed in those itty-bittty bus seats like cattle. At 1:30 am with 20 hrs of bus ride left this gets mighty unpleasant. ...and smelly, did I mention smelly? So there's my warning. Never take a late night bus east from anywhere in Michigan. I'm sure it's knowledge that'll come in handy. Well, now they're kickin' me off the computer to walk a mile and a half home through swarms of horse-flies big as your uncle Bob. Well, maybe not swarms, but big as uncle Bob I kid you not. I'm a city girl at heart I guess. The constant bugs, and bears, and moose are geting to me.
