So much for going to bed early last night!
Åsa and I went to finalise the resturant booking yesterday and ended up having a few beer's nearby.
It was strange seeing the rooms where we will be holding the wedding party. Since Åsa checked the place out and booked it, I have not seen before yesterday!
The resturant is in Nyhavn (New harbour) number 5. The rooms are wonderful and the service is excellent. We got to try the wines we will have with the food and discussed the timings.
We was supposed to have our second Swedish lesson yesterday, but that went out the window!
The arrangement is supposed to go something like this -
13:00 - Everyone arrives by now and get's a welcome drink
13:01 - My Father makes the welcome speech (oh no! I have no idea what he is planning to say!!)
13:15 - Starters are served with white wine
Salmon moose or tomato salad
13:45 - Food is finished?
13:46 - Sara (best woman) and Petra (bridesmaid) hand out suprises (I can't tell you what that is as I am sure some of the guest will read this!)
14:00 - Main course is served with red wine (white is still available)
Roast beef, creamy potato's and veggies or stuffed peppers
14:45 - Food is finish?
15:00 - Move to second room
Here the cake will be cut and served with desert wine
15:30 - Move back to main room
Coffee and tea will be served
Guests get to 'use' their surprises!
16:00 - Opening of present (assuming there are any!!)
16:30 - Speech from myself and Åsa
17:00 - Åsa and I leave, as we are flying out that night.
Sara and Petra will then lead the guests out (?) to Tivoli to continue the party.
