Tweety Bird & Cat in the Hat.

People of H2G2, I fear my freind Nathan is an Idiot. I always thought so before but after this experiance I've decided that he is the Rev. Idiocy. One day He and I were discussing the finer qualities of cartoons. Somehow trough our conversation we got into Cat in the Hat. I mentioned that he must have a prehensile (is that how to spell it?)tail. He said no. He explained that a cat doesn't have to change his entire anatomy to become a cartoon. Upon this comment I responded with the fact that Bugs Bunny is a rabbit and had to change his anatomy to stand erect. He excepted it.
We continued to have our conversation. Eventually Tweety Bird popped into our subject. Now my freinds, my idiot buddy Nathan swore upon everything holy that Tweety Bird was a girl. I told him that I once saw him reading "PlayBird" Nathan said no, that never happened and what about his voice? I told him that Tweety was a bird, of course he'll have a high pitched voice. For three hours we argued like little children. "Nah uh" "Yes huh" What do you think?

I think Tweety Bird is a boy personally. There weren't many girl characters on cartoons back then anyway, unless they were old ladies with brooms...

You are absolutely right. Not only is Tweety a boy but those swine the Warner Brothers didn't make any appealing female cartoon characters. Unless of course you count Bugs Bunny when he dressed like a girl.

And he was DEFINITELY not appealing, even when dressed as a girl. But I don't hold it against them. They were just unenlightened...

Yes indeed. On his defence nontheless, he looked better than alot of the Drag queens I see on Maury and on the streets. I guess it was the time period that influenced the Warner Bros. but it's no excuse. =)

Yeah Bugs in drag just looked funny, not gross. But now Warner has characters like the animaniacs and there's lots of girls, but still not as many as guys.

I think some of the Animaniacs cartoons are funny but other ones like Histeria and the Batman cartoons are really dumb. Perhaps my standards are just high from watching the classics that nothing can compare to.

I just think Histeria is cool because it's so fast moving. But I don't like Batman. At all. I like Animaniacs though.

The only thing I liked about histeria is the fat, slobbering baby. Oh yes, and the guy who screams all the time. I used to watch Animaniacs all the time. Everytime I thought about this one episode, I'd laugh manically. It's the Wacko's birthday episode. With his English accent he'd say, go away clown! At the time I thought that to be the funniest thing in the world.

Unfortunately I do not know what you are referring to... But Wacko is funny. I think he's supposed to sound like Ringo, the Beatle.
