h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

You know, life just seems to *really* suck sometimes. I happen to be one of those really, sickingly upbeat people that you either love or absolutely loathe. But you know what? I get pissed off too, I get depressed too, I get the feeling that no one is human!! Or maybe I should say that no one wants to take the time to actually *be* human. And just *what* does that entail, you may ask? Just to care. Just to be kind. Just to be cordial!! Is that so hard to ask someone? Anyone? Why is it that we hurt eachother so ruthlessly, so violently, when all we are is exactly the same species? Sure, some of us have more drive, more ambition than others, so just stay away from those people, or associate with them only when you have to. But dont you put your pants on one leg at a time? Dont you feel emotion just like me? Well then, *realize* what you do, *realize* what you say, *realize* that the way you act can and *will* affect people around you. Some of them may just be people you dont enjoy even breathing the same air as, but geeezzz, arent we all just human?
