Hey, Jim, long time no see.
A thought that's been running around at the back of my mind for a while...
There are a lot of YouTube links on the messageboards; often people will post 3 or 4 in one message. All of them, when converted into a clickable link, look identical - you can only tell if it's something you've seen before after you click through.
Would it be possible, when putting YouTube links into the database, to fetch the title of the video from the YouTube page and make that the clickable text for the link? (Perhaps with "(YouTube)" appended to the end...) I know that singling out one site like this isn't the "BBC way", but there are a *lot* of these links appearing, and this would greatly enhance the "user experience".
It's just a thought. If you think it has legs, perhaps you could add it to the DNA feature request list. Or not, your call.

SEEMS as good idea, specially since most long standing users of the site will have there own UTUBE page, mine is tubedlogicus (shameless plug) though not a lot on there but have a few in my favorites. of stuff that I've seen a couple of them are from h2g2 members
