James, you've obviously put so much of yourself into the creation of h2g2. Having read your page, from now on I can't help but think of what you have achieved as an awesome memorial to your little boy. I hope both you and your wife will one day be telling your grandchildren about your shared experiences over this past year. Best wishes to you both.

Thank you very much. I think you're right - h2g2 is partly the way it is so that people can talk about the things that are important to them, and for me, that was definitely Alexander.
Whilst the Guide proper is important, just as important is the ability for anyone to record their lives for others to share. I've tried to make sure that h2g2 can be that space.

I've enjoyed H2G2 so far and was touched by your honesty and realism. Last night I rushed my son to casualty with suspected meningitis, I wrote a page about symptoms to look for, please feel free to add detailed information/symptoms I may have omitted.
H2G2 is a great project, maybe the greatest. I'm new to the internet and always imagined it to be something like this, was disappointed when it wasn't and am now thrilled that you've made it so, Thank-you

Some thought (Ta Da)
1. Some sort of frame buster, as when I went to your journal from the discusion window, it fisplayed the whole guide screen in the journal display area.
2. A simple button to show all of the researchers , with a quick list on what they have done.
3. Mirroring! It veeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy sssssllllloooooowwwwwww ffffrrrrroooooooommmmmm Australia.
Apart from that, keep up the good work!
