Forming a SETI@Home group

Jim,
I have been running the SETI@home client for a few weeks now and recently joined h2g2. How about the guide to form a 'Search Group' that resarchers can join. I have checked the guide for disscussions and a few seemed less than enthusiastic about SETI but there must be a good few h2g2'ers who would be interesting
Could I have permission to start such a group on the SETI home page?

Simon, that sounds like a great idea. If you start a SETI@home team for h2g2 and put up a page about it, I'll put something about it on the front page.
Let me know when it's up!

I have now set up the group, h2g2 Researchers, on the SETI@home web site and included some simple instructions on my home page (I am researcher 53909). If you have time have a look and see if it all makes sense. If it does your offer of a mention on the front page will be graciously accepted --- Thanks

Simon,
I've taken the liberty of creating a new (hopefully somewhat more readable) version of your page about seti, including clickable links that immediately brings people to where the have to be.
Ofcourse the idea was based upon your page, and I'm directing the readers of my article to the group that you have formed. Ofcourse I JOINEd the group myself as well.
Maybe together we'll be able to attract more people. I might link my article to your page, on account of you being the founder of the group. You could delete your article, and put up a link to mine for your visitors to follow.
I've already found others to support the article, too.
If you're interested in teaming up, just check out http://www.h2g2.com/A193231 and let me know what you think.
