I hope she'll be back to the PC once she's on her own again.

she's on dial-up and it takes around 10 goes to get logged on... but if she's going to the library it's a lot easier.

So I guess, unless she gets totally addicted (not like me, then ) we can expect to see her around once a week or so. I hope!

My parents are going broadband. Octegenarians on broadband - sounds like some perverse soap opera. At least we'll be able to e-mail photos then - one photo and they crash at the moment.

So, I'm off to find your mum now, Sho. Promise I won't tell her anything. Just as a matter of interest - how did you get her on to the idea, and why did she want to join?

why? no idea - I must be mental...

as for why she wanted to join... she'll have to answer that herself. (possibly because I witter on about it so much, possibly because she's heard all about the hunky Sheffield researchers and wants to set up a meet... now she's on here though, each time I go home it's a mini-meet )
