Yes it is - there is the old children's song that goes on about a Kookabura in a gum tree, but I'm called Katy Kookabura because that's what my mom and her cronies dubbed me years ago apparently after a charactor in an old childrens programme although I have no idea what it was about, or what a Kookabura looks like or even how to spell it! Kookabura works for me though I like the Kooky bit!

Do you live in Australia???? cause Gum tree in song???? I remember singing the song! as a child. Does Kooky stand for a little mad or a biscuit or is that cookie??

No I'm not Australian, I'm a Brit - The children's programme that the name comes from was televised in England in the olden days when my mother and her chums were small and that's all I know about Kookabura's - As for Kooky well I guess that comes from being a tad quirky to put it nicely.

Thats what puts me of and also I feel you would have to go for three or four weeks. I go on holiday in four weeks to Lanzarote.
