Just thought it was about time I wrote something here.
I'm really not much of a journal-writer, but at least I try?

today is pay-day, so I think I'll probably go to the shopping mall when I come home from work. There are a couple of cd's I want, and some PS-games...
I'm hooked on GT2 smiley - sadface or is it smiley - smiley ?

WUUUAAAAHH!!!!

(just had too)

Had GT, got GT2 - played it, loved it, got addicted, tried to finish the game...

Got all the way (ALL cars, ALL races) except being able to beat the Escudo on Pike's Peak - lent it to a friend as he said he could do it...

Friends car got stolen - no console, no memory card, no game - don't know what happens when you finish it...

WHAT HAPPENS!!!

Man, that's a real bummer!! smiley - sadface
Dunno...

But beating the Escudo on Pike's Peak is a piece if cake!smiley - tongueout
(I don't mean too sound patronizing, but I succeeded on my first attempt!)
This is provided you drive the Escudo yourself.

Not a big fan of the Escudo myself - it's a bit too point & poke for my liking - not much finesse! smiley - winkeye

I prefer the GT1, Cerbera or Lotus Elise (all fully beefed up naturally).

Are you a driving game fan?

Somewhat...
Allthough after GT and GT2, there ain't much fun left. I mean, they actually are the ultimate driving sim's, at least for PS. Allthough I still love Destruction Derby and Rollcage... smiley - smiley

I'm not that much of a fan of the Escudo either. It's too superior, coz you can do hairpin-turns and the like at terrifying speeds. I guess my favourite car in GT2 would be the MR Spider. It's not that fast, but it's a helluva ride!! smiley - tongueout
And, of course, the Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car, the Alfa Romeo 155 Touring Car and the Mitshubitshi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo (you know, the absolute ass-kicker from GT) Love it!!!
All with top-tuning, of course... smiley - smiley

Naturally!

I'd have to disagree with 'there aint much left' though.
The best - yes. But...

Colin McRae Rally (1&2)
V-Rally (1&2)
Toca Touring cars

... are all wicked (although all different) in my book.

If only I drove something better than a Ford Escort smiley - sadface

Colin McRae 1 I've played. Loved it! Excellent rally-feel.smiley - smiley
The others I haven't tried. Ridge Racer 4 had some appeal.

I drive a Ford Fiesta 1.1 litre myself, so that's not what you would call a fast car... smiley - sadface

Used to have a Fiesta myself - 1.0 (well, 0.957 if we're being precise!) - sounded like a washing machine when it got past 60mph smiley - winkeye

Downhill, wind-assisted, serious speed wobbles smiley - winkeye

Actually, it was pretty much the same colour as the subject bar of these messages - Nice!

At least yours had a colour that attracted attention. Mine's dull silvergrey-metallic... smiley - sadface
