Did you know you're the only person who mentions Catan on all of H2G2? That's a shame because it's the best board game ever.

Thanx for your contribution... it's really the best board-game. I played a lot in the last 4 weeks, and my favorite extension is the "Staedte & Ritter" (cities & knights ?)-extension. Do you know these extensions? how are they called in english?

In Canada we have:
-The Settlers of Catan
-The Seafarers of Catan Exansion
-The Cities & Knights of Catan Expansion
We also have The Starfarers of Catan but I haven't had time to play it yet, even though I have a copy now.
I like Cities and Knights but I don't get to play it very much because my friends haven't played enough Settlers yet.

Hi
I started playing Settlers this x-mas. A brilliant board game, quick learning phase and a lot of playability. Cant wait to get my hands on the expansions. Perfect entertainment together with good friends.
