I'm new to this site and looking for someone to talk to. My interests are poetry, gardening ,rambling and my dog Muffin.

I contribute regularly to the BBc's poetry corner and I also do performance poetry in the area where I live.

I was having a chat with Rose and she said she found you down here too, so I've come along with some I baked this morning to see if I could tempt you with some, I used five bars of on it and it has a pound of on top... Now if Rose would just stop by, I bet she makes a cracking - you can give us a sneak preview of your latest musings to make us and wryly - now that's what I call a morning.

I do like the idea of having a guardian angel who follows me around cyberspace giving me goodies to help me in my quest to become a Pink Thing. Do you think we have transmogrified? I do hope so cos it is such a lovely word that we should do it immediately

I really enjoyed that, what with Rose's goodies and Dazzler's party tricks - now next time you eat all Rose's cheesecake, Dazzler, please choose something other than the flowerpot I have just transmogrified into!

Busy Sunday ahead of me now, but before I go, I'm just going to put a note on the folk tale thread (if you're interested at all in folk tales, Dazzler, Rose has been helping me reseach and write something up about them and there's a thread about it on Rose's space).

It's sackcloth and ashes today for me, no more
the wages of indulgence rest firmly on my hips so it's Perrier water with the gin today and smaller pieces of cake, but I'll probably have two slices instead did you notice how small they are?
