Redbeard. Got home and saw your message. Thanks. As noted elsewhere, Beauregard is indeed a rl cat and unquestionably lord of all he surveys. He appears to be a cousin of your companions albiet a long haired version thereof. He also doen't talk much. His vet says brown tabbies are pretty laid back (and he is) and some cats just don't say much (which he doesn't). He seems to be teaching us how to be telepathy receivers. Anyhow, back to the chase. Re: your message. There does not seem to be an "Add Guide Entry" position on my home page and when I go to edit it shows me my original entry. I must admit to being stymied. Should I wait for more help from Andy or beg boons from both of you or that and try bagging an angel? Really don't know what to do. Had a nice time at the cafe with y'all and hope to see you again soon. Not a frequent flier though so bare with me.
Oh. IRL Don Gebhardt dum ol drywaller

All right, let's try to sort this out.

First, are you in classic goo skin or alabaster? If you're in classic goo, the background of the page is dark blue and text is white. If you're in alabaster, the background of the page is white and text is black. You can change between these in your preferences.

So, if you're in classic goo, scroll all the way to the very bottom of your home page, and the very last thing on the left should be a text link saying 'Click here to add a new Guide entry'

If, however, you're in alabaster, look in the left column under your most recent forum postings, until you get to 'Most Recent Guide Entries"
There is a blue button there marked 'Add Guide Entry' right the notation of your home page entry. Click on the blue button and you'll get a blank screen for creating a new entry.

Hope this helps.

Redbeard; hail and glad tidings, good fellow. The things weren't alredy on the page and think that was what was booggering me up. With posting you left and other things folks have let drop (mostly your stuff) my page home looks presentable.
(genuflections of gratitude)
Your directions were like a map and I can do that (previous life) pretty well. Just not always good at following instructions (shrink one time said something about authority figures and stuff-HA!).
That copy and paste deal is kool but, have, as yet, to find WP.
Ah, well. Progress; not perfection.
Again, THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!! I learn at the feet of my superiors. (Given your vocation/avocation you probably can't help yourself. My good fortune.)
