I haven't sorted it out yet, which is worse - depression with or without hootoo. Hootoo is kind of escape. But then it takes some effort, too. True.

Oh lovely. Been there, done it. But then there were some habits to cling on. Hootoo was one of those. Now, that I think of it, it's lying to myself in a way but I can't really care. On the worst case I'll just end up bipolar.
