Trip available; courtesy of h2g2’s <./>underguide</.>. Just step on the here -> A9904773. The wonders of the www, hey ?
It’s this week’s front page UG entry. Last week’s entry, not for the fainthearted, gave people the shivers; A9882705. Two recent favourites; A8630651 was a lovely piece of nonsense, and A8699836 was full of light, colour and atmosphere.
The UnderGuide’s been going two and half years now, putting at least one entry on h2g2’s front page almost every week. Being a volunteer for it has been … enormously rewarding.
Also frustrating, sometimes enraging (Thankfully only briefly, but that’s what comes of taking the end product of it seriously, as I do. Don’t see the point in it otherwise.), sometimes hurtful (We had one entry showing a stunning degree of forgiveness and wisdom that the BBC’s Editorial Policy couldn’t allow. Losing that piece still hurts.), sometimes moving, sometimes funny, sometimes warming, sometimes just plain bizarre.
I’ve learnt so much from it. It all adds up to being, like I said, enormously rewarding.
The Underguide’s only had one entry up each week for a while. It could feature two but it and the Alternative Writing Workshop need more readers, reviewers, Miners and Polishers for that.
Anyone wanting to join in; reading and commenting in the <./>writing-alternative</.> Workshop, volunteering for the UnderGuide - there’s plenty of room. It really pays for the effort put in.

I'm reorganizing my personal space to only receive AWW entries. Hope to be more helpful in the future. Good work!

We couldn't have done without your votes these last few months, and I know you're off travelling, so it's much appreciated.
You've been seeing Swallowtails - I saw Swallowtails last month too, flying at speed over some Andalucian foothills. Beautiful things.
I googled for images of your Tiger ones and the Scarce Swallowtail I've seen before in Spain looks very similar. The ones this time didn't stop long enough to be identified .
