Tenzin Delek Rinpoche is still alive, as far as we know; although what we know, at this point, is very little. There has still been no official word from China about whether his death sentence will be carried out or commuted to life in prison.

Another Tibetan monk has been arrested and charged with possessing a portrait of Dalai Lama. Phuntsok Tsering is chant master of Magar Dhargyeling Monastery. Police raided the monastery and found a portrait of the Dalai Lama in Phuntsok's room. Phuntsok's condition and details of charges against him are unkown.
