Bush or Kerry?

God, what a choice! If it makes it easier, think of the decision as Bush or anybody who isn't a meglomaniac. No, that won't work... Okay, think of it as Bush or a relationship with the rest of humanity that doesn't rely so heavily on an investment in war that, sooner or later, even America is going to find too expensive (forget immoral) to sustain.
Personally, I think a sock puppet (as opposed to an oil puppet) would be a better bet for President if you care about not making a worse mess of things.
I know: why not try a term or two with nobody at all in the White House - Didn't Michael Moore run Nobody for President at some point? I'll bet you hardly notice a difference... except commom sense might gradually seem more common.

Oh, before I forget... Remember the Soviet Union and how years of having to compete with Amercan arms spending eventually ruined the place and made it unfit for anyone but gangsters? Well, doesn't the war on terror, freedom, real democracy and basic common sense remind you just a little bit of that scenario? If not, look at the bills that are coming in.

I like that you don't even list Nader as a choice...
Not sure that he'll appear on the ballot here in the Keystone State either. Something about phony signatures on his nominating petitions. Not that the other two had all legitimate signatures I'm sure.
Just a few more days. Just a few more days. Just a few more days. Just a few more days.

Wasn't there a TV health nut who used to shriek, 'Stop the insanity'?
You really have to wonder about people like Ralph Nader. Surely, they must know that they have about a snowball's chance of succeeding. Yet the seem incapable of setting their own ambition aside for the greater good.
We have a comparable situation here, with the minority Liberal government and a supposedly left-wing NDP party that is so hungry for power that it sides with a Conservative party (led by a man who thinks that Bush has some good ideas, if only he had the will to act on them) and a Quebec separatist party that sit wants to see the end of the country as we now know it.
It's madness.
