I probably do, only in reverse. I heard somewhere that people often imagine themselves looking as they appear in the mirror. That's why they don't like to see pictures of themselves, because they seem back-to-front in photographs.

I am sure that you are right
not meaning to sound vain but as long as you like yourself and others like you thats all that should matter... I like myself and my bf likes me ....but my mum thinks I never make the most of myself and should wear makeup 24/7! I'd rather go and roll in muck
Happy holidays!

What do you need makeup for anyway? You've already got a bf. I bet your mum would get mad if you got more than one.

yep you are probably right mum would. Although it is still nice to be thought of as good looking by others. Boosts your confidence if more than one person admires you.

I certainly need confidence boosting.
Especially when I feel that people are nagging at me to be perfect and this blind comes down cutting me off and saying give up you are useless... before bursting in to tears. This happened regularly in maths lessons when I was little.

Trying to grow plants where people like to ride bikes and skateboards can be stressful, so I try not to let myself get too attached.
... but sometimes that's easier said than done!

I can understand when you have spent so long over your work to perfect it only to have it destroyed.

The trick is to spend as little time as possible making things nearly indestructible. That's where experience and natural laziness become complimentary.
