2. You'll want to get your extra information added quickly - some entries are getting accepted after just about two weeks in the queue! Of course, this has caught me by surprise, and resulted ion a good few unfinished entries being subbed *^_^*. Don't Be A Victim

Yeah, you got good chances of this being accepted. I'll be disappointed if it isn't.

Unless there is already an official guide entry on Essen...have you checked?

If you only ever add one thing to the article, then please add some more history about your hometown . It is necessary.
Plus, any extra information on the city itself would be appreciated (and give it a better chance of being accepted).

There's an official article on Germany, but even if you don't link to it then that's alright, cos I can do it now (or any time I want).

Forgot some things...

When you add your information, you don't need to resubmit the article. Just tell me once you've added stuff and I'll sort out the rest.
I'd appreciate it if you get updating done as quickly as possible - though I know you don't quite have control over when you come online
