I think, in truth, h2g2 is more appropriate for me than the BBC messageboards, not least because people seem to be far more friendly here. I do feel a lot more comfortable now and they are excellently worded to make them emcompassing. Well done to the person/people who came up with that wording.

I'm glad you're finding your feet in h2g2 - the people here are really nice, and funny and interesting, at least I think so. A different vibe to the message boards completely - everyone's a lot more laid back here.

That is so true Peta. The messageboards always seem to be about comfrontation and that's a shame. I probably will look around them occasionally but here is far more friendly and respectful of others and I think you ened both in order for something to work and this seems to work very well indeed!
