Its me, Snowman. I've just finished editing your Ash entry and I thought I'd run it past you before I sent to the powers that be, so that any problems can be sorted out.

I would like to suggest changing the very beginning a little. I can understand why you've taken the brief description of the village out of the footnote but would you mind if I changed the wording now to make a better introduction of it? (When this was just a footnote I didn't take too much trouble with the wording.) I'd like to change the start to:

'Ash is a small rural village, surrounded by farmland, and lying on a ridge on the edge of the Shropshire plain with views of the Shropshire hills and Welsh mountains to the south and west. It has around 75 houses and 250 people and is one and a half miles from Whitchurch, the nearest small market town. The village has been there for at least one millennium already and decided to celebrate the beginning of another. This is a record of how Ash celebrated the year 2000.

Etc....and subject to editing of course . Other than that its fine. Thanks again for asking.
