Hi and welcome to h2g2! I hope you enjoy your time here! I see you've written an introduction and chosen a nickname - a great start. If there's anything else you need, don't hesitate to ask me, or any of the other ACEs at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 . Be sure to check out the main page. You can always get there by clicking that lovely logo in the goo (top-left of your screen). Well, you've successfully boggled me on that question. But can it be answered? Will it not differ to each individual woman? (e.g. Thatcher - power; Rosanne - ratings; Mrs. Clinton - new husband ) But please tell me if you have a definative answer .
Remember, feel free to ask any questions,
Mr.Cynic
Greetings to thee, Mr.Cynic

Thank you for your offer.
How can I refer to another researcher?
I´ve found an amazing text (rather a shortstory), but i have to translate it first.
If I had a definative answer I wouldn´t ask .
To me it seems that there is one thing, women, well i guess i can only say something about the younger ones, have in common.
They want to control the opinion of men.
(I´m the founder an the only existing member without a partner of the PAM-Club which is not to be related to the Lady)
e.g.
Darling? I´ve an invitation to a gambling this evening.
Oh, I´ve seen you only monday, tuesday and wednesday this week.
On thursday you are mine!
We have promised things we cannot remember.
Once the friendship broke, everyone can tell you everything about you.
Hey, what would we do without our little lovely squirrels?
Who would believe (in) us?
Maybe because men are usually physically stronger than women, they want to show their strength (and they are quite good, aren´t they?)
Please do not shoot the author!

Hmmm...
Well, normally you can simply reply to the message and it is implied to who you are addressing the message. But you can always call another by their name .
Story
Grossmeister_Mulk Posted May 13, 2000
Once young King Artus (Auther) was captured during an ambush by a king of another kingdom. This king promised him freedom if he could answer a very difficult question within a year. Else he would be killed.
The question was :”What do women really want?”
Artus went out to find the answer. He asked all the wise men he encountered and especially every women he saw, but nobody was able to give an answer.
In the last month he found an old witch who, so told, knew the answer. But her price was to marry one of the noble knights, sir Gawain. You can imagine how happy Gawain was. The witch was really ugly, with a hunchback, smelling like old fish, belching and farting all the time. But for Artus life, he agreed.
And the witch gave the answer:” What women really want is: to make decisions on their own!”.
So the king was allowed to go and the witch and Gawain married. Nice party; the witch showed her worst habits and tried to clear the room by chemical warfare.Gawain was all the evening polite and friendly to his new wife. Then in the wedding night Gawain was shocked. Suddenly he had a beautiful girl instead of the old … inside his room. She said:”For your politeness you shall be granted this: One half of the day I´m ugly, the other half I´m as you now see. You can choose when I´m ugly.”
The question to you is:
“What do you think Gawain will say?”
(Show his wife in daylight and go to bed with an old, spooky witch? Or A girl who makes the sun hide and in the night all his dreams to become truth?)
(This text I found on www.kraehseite.de)

I know the story. The answer's obvious due to the witch's earlier comment and so Gawain lets her "make the decision" and so another spell is broken and she is beautiful all the time. But it could be that he didn't make the decision because he couldn't choose between the two - too greedy .
