Hi Q. Hey Mike, remember when I said "doch" is a sort of noise word that emphasizes the meaning? There it was in use above.

It took me 3 years of school German to give up trying to find a set meaning for that word. Whenever I pressed my teacher, he would be evasive. Or, I thought he was being evasive. Now I realise that maybe he was actually trying to tell me

My Langenscheidt's (sehr altes Wörterbuch) doesn't include the word 'defecate', but I guarantee it means 'scheißen'.

And one more thing, it's the "polite" term for this activity, the scientific word, you might say. So it would sound totally bizarre and funny to an english speaker if you used it as a swear word.

Kind of majestic, though ("I defecate upon yo' mama") *breaks up laughing*

Als Kind wohnte ich im "Pennsylvania Dutch" Gegend -- viele dort sprechen noch plattdeutsch. Dann studierte ich Deutsch ungefähr 6 Jahre in Schule ... und dann wohnte ich fast ein Jahr im Corfu wo ich für eine reiche Familie arbeitete (mit Pferde). Halb Greek, halb Deutsch.

aber man kann ja auf 'classic goo' umstellen, und die skinwechselmöglichkeit is wohl auch der sinn der ganzen sache schliesslich wurden auch irgenwo neue skins für irgendein hoffnungsdatum in der zukunft versprochen, vielleicht wird ja mahl ein designwettbewerb ausgerufen
