S&S Rebirth

I do like the subtle way he chacks that the guy has no one at home for him before he lets him die, even making sure the cat is looked after, but I reckon that is just to make sure no one notices.
A modern version would need two actors who could look intelligent and as if they know what is going on and yet not be too gung ho. It always struck me that S & S were just doing a job, rather than being particularly heroic.

Why on earth would we need new actors? The plotline at the end made it very clear that both sapphire and steel were trapped in time in the station possibly for centuries.....McCallum has expressed an interest in the past in reprising his role so if Lumley could be coax into it along with good enough scripts then there's no reason they couldn't play their own parts again with the aging perfectly explained away by time spent trapped

As I have discovered. The trailer sounds interesting and I await them with interest.

My understanding is that McCallum was busy in America with NCIS,and that Lumley didn't want to do it.
