Sometimes we have to slow down to keep up.
It is important to slow down to gather our thoughts.
I am pleased now that I know you aren't who I originally thought you were. I don't know you and you don't know me. Excellent.
It is important to go to see a physician when required. If a person needs to see a counsellor that is even better. If they actually get to see one that is better still. It is important to have someone who will listen to one's troubles with a kindly non-judgemental ear. A good counseller has also been trained to suggest ways of improving matters or life-style.
I know one or two people who are good at listening and about one million others who still have not learnt to listen.

Hello ChiKiSpirit,
It's great that you are here with me! I believe in 'listening'. Listening is 'gold'. It's a greater art than keepings on pronouncing what we just prefer doing.
My maternal uncle Mr. Shamsuddin once told us during our teen age, "If you develop the art of keeping silent and continue listening and picking more and more knowledge and activate them in your practical life, you are winner."
Where there are ups in life there are downs of course, as the wise saying goes.
