The futility of thought

"I think therefore I am." This is possibly the most redundant statement that has ever been reproduced.

By way of explination, any person that is able to think is capable of thought, but only those incapable of thought are capable of "being" (if that is a real word). To "be" one must not think, not do, just "be". If this is the case then all those who think cannot "be" and those who do not think are able to "be". Either by way of personal discipline, age or mental capacity. Those who cannot think are able to be.

But if thought is what defines our existence then those without thought cannot exist. If one does not exist how can one "be"?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
