Welcome to h2g2 – not just the friendliest on-line community but an incredibly huge, living, breathing guide to Life, the Universe and Everything. It’s compiled by researchers just like you and it's something YOU can take part in. You can write entries on all manner of subjects, and if it's something you think would look good in our Edited Guide (where all the best research goes), you can submit it to Peer Review Take a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.> for more information on that.

I hope when you get to know us a little better you'll open your personal space and tell us a little about yourself - but there's no rush - and it's not compulsory

We ACEs are volunteers here to assist new researchers so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh, and don’t forget to bookmark not only your space but the H2G2 <./>FrontPage</.> - it’s a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening and leads to all sorts of corners which you may otherwise miss.

I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know

hi feisor acei'm not a newbie on here my old username was november_rain and for some reason h2g2 closed that account down but as i have not used it for 3 years and my old email address is no longer active i had to open another hotmail email to get back on could you please exsplain to me why that happend?

the wife who come on here going to do my space page up like hers except i want blue

A lot has changed here over the past 3 years - not even mentioning Single Sign On but there shouldl still be a way to get your old account back

If you email [email protected] with all the details you can remember from your old account - the U number, the email address, the titles of some of the entries you wrote - then they can sort it out

That old account U215953 i never did much on entries the only thread i know is of my wife before we met and married it's Dear andy from princess and i'm no longer a kitchen assitant im a now i'm glad i met my wife off LD and h2g2.

Well - it's entirely up to you - you can either reclaim it or start again

If you decide not to reclaim it you can add it to your friends list and subscribe to the page and any conversations that you want to stay in touch with - that way you'll know if anyone posts to "the old you"
