h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Somehow Berilia is giving me freedom to be me, in a way I haven't been able to be as yet IRL. My entries as Berilia are ways for me to coem to terms about me. It not the discovery that happened a few years ago, but the exploration. Being here and having a supportive structure is a good thing, I just hope that what I contribute here will be of some use.

Berilia, I have decided will continue to exist even though his real persona, has been revealed to be Demon Drawer. The reason for this is that there will undoubtedly be articles I will want to write which though great articles may not be the sort of things that will sit alongside the stuff that DD puts forward and has approved.

The thought at present is that Berilia will become DD's champion of causes. DD of course has the Cause of the Month (recently started) and will start to seek out causes to write up for the post.

So maybe I'll have two different sides of me not divided my sexual preference but by the fun loving, prolific and chatty, and the serious side where debates will be best orchastrated. So these two personas are going to carry on in tandem. But at least now I won't feel I'll have to respond as one persona and rush off to change the registration as quick as possible which can be a pain in the busy times.

So there you have it I'll be championing underdogs/cats/small blue furry creatures from Alphga Centuri or whatever over here as Berilia. Campaign HQ's Demon Drawer will continue to slurge out articles on anything and everything but may pass some of them over to Berilia to have them on the guide yet not sitting alongside side things like a James Bond Script or an Article on Jake the Peg for example. Anything that might make a newbie think twice about stopping by and getting to know DD, but which me as DD thinks still needs to be said will be writen here.

I think that makes some sort of sense, there some sort of rational behind it. At leasty now I can link to Berilia's articles and page without having to worry too much about it.

The last twenty four hours in particular and the last three weeks generally have been a good time of healing for me. As a lot of DD's friends stopped by not aware of Berilia's true identity it was good to see the support that many of them gave me as I was waiting to make the decision to go public at least in one sence and part of my life. I trust that nothing will change, the DD personality really is me, as those who have known him for 4 1/2 months now can vouch, you can't keep up a persona at the speed I have in all that time and not let the real me come out.

Well I suppose the real me needs to come out IRL but at least I can relax a bit here. Nothing to guard, no need to hide. But at the same time I'm not out to prostelitise, but will be a support if anyone needs one.
