Dear Tsunami,
your band line up is poor. The songs your band would write would be dull. All your musicians are nothing special technically and are emotively low key. You had the choice of all the musicians that ever played, think who you left out:
Drummers
Ringo(Beatles), John Bonham(Led Zep), Bill Ward(Black Sabbath), Keith Moon(The Who),
Bassists
John Paul-Jones(Led Zep), John Entwhistle(The Who), Paul McCartney(Beatles)
Guitarists(why did you choose slash, you silly bugger)
Jimmy Page(Led Zep), Jeff Beck(Yardbirds), Eric Clapton(Cream), Jimi Hendrix(the Jimi Hendrix Experience) Peter Green(Fleetwood Mac) Pete Townshend(The Who), Mark Knopfler(Dire Straits), Brian May(Queen), David Gilmour(Pink Floyd) George Harrison.
Vocalists
Robert Plant(greatest vocalist ever, Led Zep) Paul McCartney, Ozzy Osbourne, John Lennon, Richard Wright, Mick Jagger etc
I suggest that you expand your musical library, you uncultured, silly, grungey, indieish, narrow listened fool

these arent highly technical musicians. theyre just the kind who have really reached out and touched my heart with their playing.
yeah, dull songs, huh? nicky wire is famous for his lyrics. and both slash and gavin write many of their own bands songs.
name one of the bands on my page who you would classify as indie. and grunge is kickass. the beatles, are they a band or a company who make beatles merchandise? its unclear to me.
i have my tastes. "narrow" as they may be. i like bands that i like (guns n roses, nirvana etc)and not the bands i am SUPPOSED to like (the beatles, led zep).
please dont overlook late 80s/early 90s music cos your parents dont like it.

What the Fluck???? the late 80's early 90's were a dull period, I havn't overlooked them i just don't want to look at them. You, my freind are overlooking the roots of any music you are likely to enjoy, hence the 60's, 70's. I've tried your music and easily forgotten it along with everone else, but who will ever forget the beatles? the bloody beatles? quite easily the band of the millenium. well followed closely by led zeppelin. you, and you're stupid not too have done, have never sampled the magic of the music I, and anyone with a heart and soul loves. according to me your music is crap. very dull and crap. there's no spine tinglement in any of your music.

thats just peachy, man. you said it all.
i hope we can disallow our non coinciding musical preferences to interfere with our friendship, "my friend".
i like some led zep, too, but i havent heard much, maybe i will sometime. i respect your musical tastes. youre a wiser man than i. but ive tried to change that and failed. ill stay foolish, if thats ok with you?

and why would i care what would be remembered or forgotten in 100 years time. i live now. not in 2100. ill be dead, long dead or about to die. ill have left the pressures upon my personality and taste of this world and i shall live where i can be myself. i dont care wholl remember my music. but i will. and thats the most important thing to me.

Heartfelt and well put. Now I may not agree with either of you (or maybe I do...who knows...who cares), but it's being yourself rather than a wooly four-legged bleating mammal that counts.

Sure, Jimi Hendrix was the greatest guitarist that ever lived, but he could never share a stage with four or five other big names. Therefore my own "Fantasy Band" is as follows....
Drums: Chad Gracey (Live). A wonderfully emotive drummer. Fans of "Grunge" music who havn't heard of Live should check out their albumn "Throwing Copper".
Bass: The mighty Jaco Pastorus (Weather Report). Anyone calling themselves a Bass player who hasn't heard of this man should be shot instantly.
Keyboards: Stevie Wonder. The man's just a genius, and a great harmonica plyer as well. Mind you, you'd have to take him and sit him down next to his keyboards every night.
Guitar: Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi). I know, I know, he's not as good as Clapton, Page, Beck,Gilmour, or Van Halen, but over the years he's proved that he can turn his hand(s) to almost any style of music, and he's got a beautiful wife.
Vocals: Freddie Mercury (Queen). Both his range and power are utterly unsurpassed by any other singer in pop history.(But Roger Taylor looked better in a dress).
So there you have it. One unknown, a blind man, two dead blokes and someone who's hairspray consumption during the mid eighties is alone responsible for 20 square miles of the missing ozone layer.
I'm wrong, of course. There must be a better one than this, but I'm buggered if I can think of one.
