Okay, okay - I admit it's hard to keep track of everything that's going on - I have trouble keeping up with my own page, let alone everyone else's - but when people right things such as "Well hopefully by now you know the answer to that" without explaining, I get confused.
I am also too lazy for my own good. I don't visit other researcher's pages enough.
So, what is this Berilia gonna do from now on? Having two or more IDs can be fun, but I noticed that your fish isn't on a lot, so would you really use more than one ID? I don't that often...

BTW - I hope I didn't accidently offend you when I said "Oh, are you that Berilia person, then?" - I didn't mean to. I was honestly confused as to what was going on.
Your friend,

Berilia does somehow serve a better purpose than Jack. Jack grew out of that crazy weekend when fish started spurting out and going solo all over the shop.
BTW I wasn't offended. I'm sure you were a bit confused, I'd been averaging high 80 posts per day when you were away, so I can't be expected to remember to fill you in on everything. Confusion is illogical, therefore a human trait.

Hmm - can I be nosey and ask what purpose Berilia serves? (Apart from forcing me to try and remember how to spell Berilia - DD, or even "Demon Drawer" is far easier to spell So, why the name Berilia, if I can be even nosier!)
And yes, confusion is definately human - just like me. I was just wondering if you had been offended, as I asked you "are you that Berilia person?" and you disappeared. Which shouldn't have offended you as it seems a perfectly reasonable question, just badly phrased. (which is me). If you met me IRL, you'd soon realise that I'm over-paranoid about people liking me and I do all I can to avoid offending people...
...Ian says that I almost annoy him by going out of my way not to annoy him - it's just how I am.

Hey BB, I just needed something. I though why not one of the elephants that carry the disc. I could have chosen any of the others. As for me disapearing, I was probably forcible removed from the computer at the time, unless it was w*** that got in the way.
But like you I've found I need a charector to host some of my articles on. Berilia is serving that purpose and he occasionally comes out to play. I promise not to develop as many persona's as Abi had pre-DCE.

Okay - I plead ignorant of Terry Pratchett! I *will* read Discworld one day, honest! I'm collecting the books, I've got 19 so far, and when I have them all I'll read them all in a row. I've just got so many other books I want to read first. I'll be starting the "Truckers" trilogy and the "Johnny" trilogy hopefully next week - I've only read "Strata", "The Dark Side Of The Sun", "The Carpet People" and "Good Omens" of his so far...
I know what you mean about having atricles getting in the way - as well as being chucked off computers - I hate it when that happens! As for getting as many IDs as Abi before her DCE.... whoops! I plead guilty. But it's not my fault... honest!
And one I'm killing off... Should be appearing in the Battersea Home any week now.

Good to see you happy again.
So, how much Terry Pratchett have you read? (Have I asked you this somewhere before?) (and Have you been to the Isle of Wight yet, and if not, why not?)

All the Discworld, Carpet People and Good Omens. I somehow never got around to Truckers etc or Johnny.
I've never been to the Isle of Wight, the one time I intended too it was a little rough and one of the group I was going with didn't fancy it.

You really should go to the Isle of Wight sometime, you know. You'll love it - but then I am slightly (only a little!) biased....
I wasn't that impressed with "Strata" or "Dark Side" - they both had good ideas in, but little else to hold it together. "Carpet People" and "Good Omens" were much better, and very enjoyable.
When I've read the Truckers & Johnny books, I'll let you know what I think.

Mine was an expansion on the essay I had to write in my O' level english language paper which I suddenly had to finish in the exam as I noticed the time, so went from a desert rat struggling to survive to a gruesome death scene, with vulture ripped flesh and everything, sometimes I think it was so graphic that's where I missed getting an A.

I remember my GCSE thing writing... We had to write a short story that either finished off where half a short story we were supposed to read and either complet how we thought the story would end, or write our own. As it was an Isaac Asimov story ("The Fun They Had") and I knew that story off by heart and could finish it almost word for word, I decided to write my own sci-fi story about a man who made lampposts and exported them to where he lived, but went mad. It made no sense, but was amusing.
I wish I could have a copy of that sometimes...
