Went to Calais for the weekend with five mates. Had a great time. The French are more civilized generally and certainly more civilized than the six of us!! However we weren't too offensive (Well most of us weren't ) and had a wonderful time. The town is still crazy about the exploits of their football team. I just think that 'Allez Calais' is arguably the neatest football slogan in Europe.

I don't know, I was too out of it to notice things like prices after about the third round on the ferry over!!! Ferry is cheap for cigs as I recall.
